Complete design and installation of distribution, small power, lighting and data
The new Wow Now Hire (formerly Nationwide Hire) offices were converted from a school, with major building works needed to achieve the correct floorplan. TDS Electrical were asked to run a project to install all distribution, small power, lighting and data in the new offices.
The installation comprised:
- all lighting, panels, feature pendants, linear fitting
- all containment including galvanised trunking, dado trunking, plastic trunking, multi compartment floor trunking
- all mains distribution, panel board, distribution boards
- all small power, including sockets, floor boxes, plant supplies
Significant cost saving
The complete project had already been designed by a consultant. The TDS Electrical quote to supply and install offered a significant cost saving through re-specifying various elements of the job. The main saving was the lighting, where a design was offered that could exceed the performance of the original spec, for a lot less money.
This project was a prime example of a Turnkey installation which took the project from the very beginning, at the design stage, all the way to the installation, handover and operation & maintenance.
