The Brief

Cotswold Outdoor, a long-standing client, sought our expertise to seamlessly upgrade their EPOS and ordering systems, streamlining transactions with minimal operational disruption.

A Good Start

TDS Electrical’s in-depth knowledge of the Cotswold Outdoor’s stores ensured that the client had full confidence in us, knowing that we could deliver on their requirements.

All they needed to do was send us the kit, and we did the rest.

The client supplied all the machinery, TDS Electrical supplied all the cabling, labour and knowledge.

We Delivered

TDS Electrical were in charge of upgrading all the data and wi-fi capabilities of the stores. We created a data map for each store to ensure the frequency of the wi-fi reached the corners. This meant that:

All EPOS labels could be updated at the push of a button
Stock balance would be updated in real time

A Success Story

Initially, we were entrusted with 50% of the installation projects, working alongside another contractor. Our efficiency and performance in completing these projects prompted Cotswold Outdoor to award us an additional 25%.

We completed 60 sites in 11 weeks from March to May 2024

This averages out to five projects per week. Wherever possible, we coordinated the work by region to minimise our environmental impact. For instance, while our projects spanned all four corners of Britain, we ensured that all sites in Scotland were completed within the same week, and we followed the same approach for Wales and Cornwall.
