Sandy Balls is an established holiday park, run by Away Resorts, in the heart of the New Forest. It includes a retail store which the owners were looking to update with a more upmarket feel.
We were asked by the main contractor to work with the project design company, who had drawn up a mood board, to create a vision for the new store and present this to the client including a drawing pack in the presentation.
We had a good idea of the look & feel they wanted to create early in the process, so we were able to present our ideas alongside theirs in the initial brief. We also costed the project at this stage so the client had transparency.
The client was very happy with our combined ideas & presentation which was provided by the main contractor, and we were engaged to complete the electrical installation, from concept to complete refit.
The light fittings chosen were a key part of the design, and it was important that any visible trunking was galvanised, which we managed to achieve. Again, these were sourced as close as possible to the design brief and with an eye on cost.
The project was a six-week programme and was completed on time and on budget.
Away Resorts were delighted with the finished store.
