Electrician

Based: Eastleigh, Hampshire and sites around the UK

Basis: Full time – Permanent

Electrician needed to join our well-established, busy Electrical Contractor team based near Southampton.

The role will be site based working on a selection of local and national retail contracts.

Duties include installation and maintenance of commercial buildings, testing and inspecting, fault finding, reading drawings, schedules and specifications, leading and training staff, liaising with clients, suppliers and other trades. Following program of works leading to planning and prioritisation of said works, H&S compliance (risk assessment and method statements, toolbox talks, access safety tag systems, asbestos awareness).

Requirements:

Full drivers licence

Own tools/power tools

Must be competent and have experience as a working foreman

Certification:

18th edition qualified, with ECS gold card

2391-52 test and inspect – preferred but not essential

SSSTS – preferred but not essential

IPAF/PASMA – preferred but not essential

The role comes with company van, fuel card, subsistence allowance, pension and 22 holidays + bank holidays per year.
